A terrifying motorcycle ride landed me here, where I gladly
got some time to take photos. The colors were brilliant. .

One of the most beautiful walks in the world, this is
only 1/2 mile from my home in Provincetown. Snail
Road is a place for silence, meditation, prayer, and
rejuvenation.

didn't notice til I got to my hotel. No cameras
were permitted, so I took with no flash. Slow
Exposure, no manipulation.

Istanbul, Turkey
My room faced the Mosque, so I could clearly hear and
even feel the vibration of the Call to Prayer which echoed
through Istanbul 4 times a day. This was taken around
11pm just after sunset, hanging out my window. Slow
exposure, sepia.

Cobos San Lucas, Mexico
Taken just before daybreak. I spent many
sleepless hours pacing this small patio which sits
high above the ocean and ground below. At the
time I could very much relate to the immediate
contrast between the warmth of the confined
space and the dark uncertainty which lies below
and beyond it.

Some artists and writers are fortunate enough to
spend creative time in the National Seashore in
Provincetown at the famous Dune Shacks.

veiled woman struck me as she hurried to her
destination.

Koh Mak, Thailand
During my two week yoga retreat on a small island,
and collecting shells. The size of my finger tip, this
shell's natural artwork blew me away. Nature is the
supreme artist! Macro shot.

energy of observation. My father's inclination for travel led me to
many destinations as both a child and as an adult. I rarely remember,
and rarely photograph, scenery. My hope is to capture a memory
shot was taken. For my viewers, I hope to allow them, if even for a
millisecond, to be transported to the moment, revealing for their
imaginations a hint of sound, touch, smell, temperature, longing,
desire, or serenity. When I see good art I feel it in my body. I hope to
share that experience with others.
