Jodie Apeseche

Jodie Apeseche is an Artist, Illustrator and Artist. 

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Jodie currently resides in Natick, MA. Her interests in both biology and environmental science, led her to a biology degree at Cornell University and then to graduate studies in Natural Resources at the University of Michigan.  

Two science careers later, she received her M.Ed. at Lesley University.  This finally brought her love of science and art into the teaching classroom. 

Currently a full-time fine artist and illustrator, her author's journey has just begun. An active member of SCBWI,
​12 x 12, and The Writer's Loft in Sherborn, MA, she is also a contributing author and illustrator to their newest poetry anthology, An Assortment of Animals.

Jodie's fine art is exhibited in galleries throughout Boston’s Metro-west communities, Martha's Vineyard, Rhode Island, Maine and New York. Her paintings are held in private and corporate collections from the West to East coasts, Canada, Australia, Europe, Russia, and India.  Collections are carried locally at Boston Children's Hospital, Floating Hospital for Children, Massachusetts General Hospital, and TJX Corporation. ​
